Statistics on loneliness are shocking. According to socialself.com, 52% of Americans sometimes felt alone in 2019. 22% often or always felt lonely.
During the coronavirus, the numbers are even higher. Being stuck at home can be lonely.
Lonelness, as defined by dictionary.com, is a state, affected with, characterized by, or causing a depressing feeling of being alone; lonesome.
Loneliness can make you feel like no one cares about you or that you are alone. But God promises that he will never leave you or forsake you.
Check out these 5 verses to remind you that you are not alone.
Deuteronomy 31:6, CSB
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Isaiah 41:10, ESV
fear not, for I am with you // be not dismayed, for I am your God // I will strengthen you, I will help you, // I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
1 Peter 5:7
… casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.
Genesis 28:15, CSB
Look, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.

… teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
