I know what you’re thinking. Red (Taylor’s Version) has been out for two months. It’s a little late for a review.
The reason I waited this long is that it took me a week to listen to the whole album. It has thirty songs on it after all. And then I just got busy.
I’m still listening to it on repeat, as I’m sure some of you are too. It just doesn’t get old.
My favorite original song is Holy Ground. I find it really hard not to dance to the drumbeats in the first verse. I loved that song in the original album as well.
Everything has Changed comes in a close second, mostly because it was Taylor Swift’s first collab with Ed Sheeran.
My favorite vault song is Forever Winter, one hundred percent. It’s a sad song disguised as a happy song, which are the best kind.
The All Too Well short film is amazing, of course. I am a Sadie Sink fan from Stranger Things and I loved her and Dylan O’Brien’s chemistry. Plus, the storytelling was really well done.
The album as a whole gets 22/22 stars from me. I can’t wait for more Taylor’s Version albums, especially 1989.
What is your favorite original/vault song on Red (Taylor’s Version)?
