This year we got to have family over for Thanksgiving. Our grandparents came on the 27th.
On Thanksgiving, Will, Daddy, and I ran a mile around the neighborhood. Then we all watched the Macy’s Parade and ate Thanksgiving dinner. Later that night we had dessert.
On the 29th, we walked around the National Mall. We took pictures in front of the Washington Monument and the White House, walked up the steps to the Lincoln Memorial and walked through the Vietnam War Memorial.
The closest place to eat was the restaurant at the Smithsonian American History Museum, so we went there next. After lunch, we walked around the second floor of the museum.
This year was a special Thanksgiving for me because it was the first time we’ve had family over for the holidays in a while. It was a lot of fun seeing Washington D.C. together!
Let’s Talk!
How did you spend this Thanksgiving?

This was also our first Thanksgiving we celebrated with family in forever! It was so fun. We watched the parade, watched football, and are great food.😊 My sisters and I each get to make a dish for the meal. Such cute pictures! Sounds like you guys had fun. 🙂
