Do you ever find yourself looking forward to one day of the week more than the others? Maybe there is a weekly event that happens on that day, or maybe it’s the one day of the week when you don’t have to do anything?
For me, I look forward to Wednesday Night Lifegroups. It is a smaller group than on Sunday Nights, so I know everyone there. The fellowship is really great and I love the games and discussions we have.
Another “light at the end of the tunnel” for me is my writing class. At our Thursday co-op, my writing class is in the third period. When Biology and Logic are especially confusing, I look forward to my favorite class, Writing & Illustration.
Through life, we will go through seasons of greif, frustration, loneliness, and pain. It is important to remember that this world is not our home.
Revelation 21:4 says, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.” (CSB)
Now that is something to look forward to!
