(1) Watching Bumblebee
We watched Bumblebee last Friday for Jenny’s pick. I think its the first transformers movie I’ve seen. It was really good and I loved the story and character arcs. Also, Hot Dog on a Stick is the best. Just had to put that out there.
(2) Celebrating Jenny’s Birthday!
Saturday was Jenny’s 10th birthday. We celebrated with funfetti cupcakes and a meal with her favorite foods for dinner. I’m so excited for my little sister to be in double digits now, … but it is also kind of hard to believe. It’s crazy how time flies.
(3) Writing and blogging more frequently
You may have noticed I’ve been publishing more often this week. This summer I’m challenging myself to write for ten minutes every weekday (usually I use I prompt from Pinterest) and I’m sharing my writings with you.
(4) Youth Worship
This week, in Youth Worship, we had a great conversation about race and what Christians should do about everything that’s going on. It was great to hear from other perspectives and build each other up as we try to love others.
(5) Listening to the Divergent audiobook on Overdrive
If you haven’t discovered the library app, Overdrive yet, I encourage you to go see if your public library is on it. It is a great resource when you can’t go to the library, and I and my twin sis are enjoying browsing books through it. I’m only a few hours through Divergent but loving it so far.
…
Let’s Talk! What is one thing you’re loving this week?
